This Privacy Policy describes how Alubos ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit alubos.com or contact us by email. It has been prepared under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK").

2. Data We Collect
Our website has no user accounts, ordering or payments. We process personal data when you send it to us or when you visit the site, as described below.
2.1 Information You Send Us
The contact form does not send your details to our server. The "Send message" button opens an email in your own email program, filled in with the details from the form. Your details reach export@alubos.com when you send that email. The form has fields for your name, email address and message. Any other information reaches us only if you write it in your message or email.
- Identity data: Name, company name
- Contact data: Email address, phone number
- Commercial data: Quote request details, product interests
2.2 Information Processed When You Visit the Site
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, visit timestamps (log records)
This data is processed by the hosting infrastructure when pages are delivered to you, and by the third-party services the pages load (see section 6). We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools on this site.

- Responding to enquiries and quote requests
- Managing and fulfilling commercial relationships
- Complying with legal obligations
- Ensuring website security and performance
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data on the following legal bases under Article 5 of the KVKK (and, where the GDPR applies, Article 6 GDPR):
- Performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps
- Legitimate interests (business enquiries, site security)
- Legal obligation
- Consent (where required, e.g. marketing communications)
5. Data Retention
- Emails sent through the contact form: 3 years
- Invoices and commercial records: 5-10 years (tax law)
- Log records: 6 months
6. Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to our service providers and to competent public authorities, within Turkey and abroad, under the conditions set out in the KVKK. The services we use to run the site are:
- Cloudflare: The site is hosted on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Page requests and the technical data in them are processed on Cloudflare's servers.
- Google Maps: The map on our contact page is loaded from Google. It loads only if you chose "Accept" on the cookie notice or press the "Show map" button in its place. When the map loads, Google may process your IP address and use its own cookies.
- Email service: Emails you send to export@alubos.com are stored on our email service provider's servers.
The servers of these service providers may be located outside Turkey.
7. Your Rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to:
- Learn whether your personal data is processed
- Request information about the processing
- Learn the purpose of the processing and whether your data is used for that purpose
- Know the third parties in Turkey or abroad to whom your data is transferred
- Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data
- Request deletion or destruction of your data under Article 7 of the KVKK
- Request that a correction, deletion or destruction is notified to the third parties your data was transferred to
- Object to a result against you that arises from processing carried out by automated systems
- Claim compensation if you suffer damage because your data was processed unlawfully
Where the GDPR applies, you may also have the right to restrict processing, to object to processing, to data portability and to withdraw your consent at any time.
To exercise your rights, write to us at export@alubos.com. Under Article 13 of the KVKK, your request will be concluded within thirty days at the latest.
